What Qualities Does The Landing Site Need?

 

We decided for the landing site to be located at the Noachis/South Terra. The Noachis/South Terra is located on the south of the Map Of Mars. The landing site should be a flat surface. It is also the area with the least radiation.

 

What Risks Do Other Landing Sites Hold?

 

Other landing sites can hold many risks, areas with high levels of radiation could potentially be harmful. Also in terms of landing the craft, if the designated area isn’t flat then it may have trouble landing.

 

Why We Chose This Landing Site

 

We chose the landing site to be located at Noachis/South Terra. This is an important landing site due to it being flat. This will help the Mission to mars to successfully and safe to land.
