How have people reached this planet before?

In December, 2014, NASA launched the spacecraft Orion for the second time. This time, it entered into Mars’ orbit.

Although we don’t have the technology to reach many planets, we have been able to visit many moons in the galaxy.

According to sciencetech.com, scientists believe that “There are roughly 500 billion galaxies in the universe, meaning there is somewhere in the region of 50,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (5×1022) habitable planets. I’ll leave you to do the math on whether one of those 50 sextillion planets has the right conditions for nurturing alien life or not.”

Independent.co.uk says, “The mission is a test of the Orion capsule that could one day carry humans onto an asteroid and also take the Nasa manned Mars mission. It also seen as a test of commercial space flight, since the capsule was made by Lockheed Martin.”

Propulsion

Spacecraft's propulsion is any method used to accelerate spacecraft and satellites. There are many different methods. Each method has a drawback and an advantage and this is a huge active area of research. In Present, modern day spacecrafts use gas to propel the rocket ship in the air by placing the engines on the back.
