Psychological test
The psychological tests are split into three sections. They first two are performed as interviews and the third is a real life simulation activity.
These tests look for mental diseases, social issues and individual capability. These tests will determine whether or not a person can move on to the next stage of testing in the selection process.
TEST NUMBER 1
The first test is a series of interviews, they can be about their personal life and just general
questions asked by a trained psychologist. A candidate is not eliminated during the preliminary
interviews. This interview is to a general knowledge about that candidate.
EXAMPLE FOR THE FIRST TEST:
How do you feel about racism?
How do you feel about terrorism?
TEST NUMBER 2
The second round of interviews are questions that are related to the topic of living in Mars.
EXAMPLE FOR THE SECOND TEST:
How do you feel about leaving earth and never returning?
How do you feel about space exploration?
TEST NUMBER 3
The third part of the psychological evaluation is a real life simulation activity. The candidate will
be placed into a room with other candidates, in which they will be given a situation and asked to
act accordingly.
EXAMPLE OF THIRD TEST:
Your mars colony has been thriving for the past five years, then all of a sudden you have
your first death. How do you and your colony cope with this?
*candidates will be eliminated or passed based on the two tests.
